Hello! My name is Ellen LeClere and I am a PhD student at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. In my graduate seminar on user behavior, I'm hoping to interview 3-4 archives researchers as part of a pilot study on how archives researchers reproduce archival material.

Participants will be anonymous, and the results of the study will not be shared beyond the scope of the class.

To be eligible, you must agree with the following statement:

“I have reproduced* archival material collected during the course of my research.”

*For the purposes of this study, reproduction is meant to describe actions or processes in which archival materials are copied and distributed beyond the scope of access provided by the archives.

If you are willing to participate in a short, anonymous interview about this topic, please contact me at eleclere@wisc.edu or at (319) 981-1139.

Participants will be entered in a drawing to win a $20 Amazon gift card (or at the local bookstore of your choice).

If you have any questions about my research or this pilot study, please don't hesitate to contact me. I've also posted this call for participants to the Research Resources board, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I may have posted that in the wrong place. If you have any suggestions for where I should post this, please let me know. I've used Ancestry before, but I am clearly new to the message boards.

Thank you for your consideration!
