It's been a while since I looked at this site. As I recall, I asked for my own name and saw that I was listed on two CDs as were my spouse, my children, my parents, etc. I do not know who submitted the information to Family Tree Maker. As far as I know, I am the only one who researched our family, and I did give copies to each of my parents' siblings and/or their spouses.

If I owned the CD, and knew the CD ID that is usually a 7-digit number, I could ask the World Family Tree Contributor Contact Information Service to send me the name and address of the submitter, but since I have personally researched all of my own family information, I do not need to buy this CD. Still curious tho!

Follow the instructions, and you should be able to find the information you are looking for.

The Birmingham Library has the first 32 Volumes of Family Tree Maker Archive CDs. Some of the information is very good, some not so good, but using information found on the CDs, you can often get enough information to point you in the right direction.

Ask your librarian if a library near you has the CDs.
