I have Reunion on my iMac, Touch and MacBook. I carry my Touch w/I research and add information I've found, references, etc. I carry my MacBook when I travel and when I find things in hotel rooms while surfing, I enter that, too.
My questions is how do I merge it all together in all three of my databases??? Does a Gedcom merge into another Gedcom or does it act as a separate file?
It's nice having all three devices, but I can see that I don't have the same information on all three of them! I have over 10K individuals on my database (after 20+ years of researching) so going thru it to check facts, etc, is an impossibility!
I'd love to get an iPad. Does the Reunion App work on it? Does anybody know?

This is the instruction page form Reunion on syncing with Mobile me. Hope it helps!!
Syncing with MobileMe for the first time (Searched for "gedcom merging" in reunion online manual)
The first time you sync your computer with MobileMe you might want to merge the information on your computer with the information on MobileMe.
When you merge the information on your computer, such as Address Book contacts or Safari bookmarks, the information on your computer is added to the information you may have synced from another computer.
By merging the information, you can be sure you won’t delete or overwrite the information on MobileMe. You can later sort the information and delete any duplicate entries.
You can also choose to replace the information on your computer with the information on MobileMe, or replace the information on MobileMe with the information on your computer.
If you’re syncing several types of information:
Click More Options in the MobileMe Sync Alert dialog, and use the up and down arrows to choose one of the following:
Merge Information: Combine the information on your computer with the information on MobileMe.
“Replace Information on This Computer:” Use the information that’s stored on MobileMe to overwrite the information on this computer.
“Replace Information on MobileMe:” Use the information on this computer to overwrite the information stored on MobileMe.
“Ignore for Now:” Don’t sync this information now.

I have the Reunion IPad app, and have tried synching with my Reunion tree on my Mac. It automatically updates from one to the other, but my experience is that it creates errors. In particular, the Notes for an individual sometimes appear under someone else's name, and not under the person where ther were created. I suspect this might happen because I have a relatively big tree with over 25,000 people. I no longer use the sync function, which makes the whole IPad app somewhat useless for me.
