Hi Lisa. If you really like Legacy then you should be able to run it on a Mac using a virtual Windows application. I have V Box (
http://www.virtualbox.org ) installed on my Mac and run several Windows applications without any problem at all.
If you are looking for something more advanced than Legacy, I think Family Historian is brilliant (
http://www.family-historian.co.uk ) but don't take my word for it - it has just won Your Family Tree magazine's "Family History Software of the Year" award for 2008. It is a 'Which? Computing' Best Buy, 'Windows XP Official Magazine' Editor's Choice, 'Computeractive' Magazine's 'Buy It!' award and 'Personal Computer World' magazine 'Recommended' It runs trouble free on my Mac via V Box and has an active user group (
http://www.fhug.org.uk/cgi-bin/index.cgi ) and a Rootsweb Mailing List
