I finally found your family tree on Ancestry. (It would be helpful if you posted a link to it, or included dates/places with your query.)

Anyway, I looked at 1910 census entry and Georgia was born in Texas (not Canada). Her father was born in Louisiana. Her mother was born in Tennessee.

I found her family in Hunt County, Texas as follows:

1870: Peter Etier 22 and Mary L. 17. There is a Bennett with the same name next door, but his age is obviously incorrect

1880: P E. Eiter 31 b. LA, L E 27, b. TN, 3 children.

1900: Peter Eiter (Indexed as Etler). 50, Leona 47, Georgie (female) b. Dec. 1885

In 1850 census I found a Peter Eiter, age 1 with parents in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana, but you will need to check further to see if this is the right person.

May I suggest that you make your older Poston family tree private and update the new one with all the census records, birth dates and places you have. This will make it easier to pursue the next steps in your research.

Sharon

PS. You may want to post your queries on a specific location board, or name board. The Master Genealogist board is actually for a genealogy software program of that name.

By the way, I believe the correct/original spelling of the name was Etier. It was French, I believe, so you'll need to take this into consideration if you are doing any research in Louisiana records. Peter would be Pierre, John would be Jean, etc.
