You have a good read on me. I've been thinking about whether to combine my two files now into one and then where would I start if I decided to do that. Fortunately, neither has more than 300 individuals and I know there are only three duplicates. I was very careful to think ahead about my final goal. When I do, I will follow your steps one at a time. I need to have a good overview of what I have in each file and what is missing. One of my files was several smaller files that I managed to merge into one file a couple of years ago with excellent results. I really appreciate this board and people like you who know Ancestry and Legacy both, a read find for me. I'm learning both. I'm reading the posts on the LegacyUG that I just subscribed to and have found a bunch of tips there applying only to the program. I'll do more after the holidays.
