Re: "Personal Roots" software needed
I have my original disk from way back in 19(ahem). In a forlorn hope I have just tried to load it on a new Windows 7 system (it works fine on XP), but no go. Is there any way I can help you out with the disk?

Re: "Personal Roots" software needed
Hi thanks for the info. Do you mean that I can get your disk off you? And if so how much would it cost to get it posted to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia?

Re: "Personal Roots" software needed
I'm in the midst of switching all my data to a new computer so I am reluctant to let go of the disk just at the moment. I can probably work something out for you though. If you wish please feel free to phone me on 0418 103 365. I'm in Melbourne. Cheers, Roger

Re: "Personal Roots" software needed
Roger,
Thank you for the reply. I am using XP so I expect to have no problems(from your message). I will call you next week when you return from South Aust. I would greatly appreciate a loan of your 199? disc as it is probably a similar version that I used.
regards, Ian

Re: "Personal Roots" software needed
Hi, I am another dumbo who has mislaid their copy of Personal roots. I would like to convert mine to gedcom files so that I can use PAF. Could I get a copy of your disk or maybe just email you my files and you do a conversion for me? Thanks, Jon

Re: "Personal Roots" software needed
if you have your tree on this site you can export a gedcom with infor on to your computer

Re: "Personal Roots" software needed
Thanks, but I don't have the tree on this board. I will look at doing it once I have loaded the file into PAF. Looks like I will be retyping it. Jon

Re: "Personal Roots" software needed
I have a new disc that I cannot use. It is available to anyone who needs it. First come - first served.

Re: "Personal Roots" software needed
Many thanks. Is it still available.
