I am using 'Genius Genealogy System' software with approximately 2000 names. The software is DOS based and I would like to be able to export to a newer program eg. Legacy software.

Unfortunately there is no export option available and tha company the wrote the software no longer exists.

That data is held in .DAT files.

I have previously exported (somehow) to a GEDCOM file, but can't remember how.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
