I have found in dealing with any problem with Ancestry.com or its' products, it serves to consistently hammer until the problem is resolved.
If this program were causing my computer to crash, I would be hammering daily. As it is, there are a few enhancements and format issues, (ie. the birth order in reports), I would like corrected/changed. I have put requests in for those, and won't be losing sleep if it doesn't happen by tomorrow.
As to whether Ancestry staff read the message boards, yes they may sometimes, but if you're having a serious issue (crashing) with the software, you should contact them directly.
Message board Admins are not paid staff, some posters aren't aware of that distinction.
