Update/sync - pedantic - sync updates the other database whether in real time or not.

I use Ancestry.co.uk NOT Ancestry.com

I do not use automatic sync in FTM Mac 2.

Time seems ireelevant - FTM will sync every time at any time as long as I have not used Ancestry Mobile in the mean time.

Ancestry Mobile will connect at any time as long as I have not used FTM sync in the mean time.

It does not matter whether I am logged into Ancestry or not when I start a session (although I know that FTM logs in when in use to detect whether there are any on-line data changes, and I log in from Mobile when I use it and log off after a session).

Please read what I say rather than what you think I am saying before trotting out the solutions to sync problems already documented by ancestry.
