Sorry, I don't understand the issue you are having.

The Ancesty APP on your iPad, works with your Ancestry Member Tree (AMT). You can view it and work with it, iPad to AMT.

Family Tree Maker for the Mac (FTMM-2) also will Sync information on your Mac, to your AMT. The next time you Sync from the FTMM-2 (your Mac), any updates from the iPad to the AMT will be downloaded form the AMT to FTMM-2.
