A nifty trick for replacing photos

With all the frustration about FTM2/Mac going around, I thought I might share a positive little trick I found for photos.

I had a bunch of photos that I had uploaded to Ancestry that I decided I wanted to touch up.

In trying to figure out the easiest way to do this, I discovered that I could edit the photo directly in the media folder and when I tell FTM2/Mac to sync, it replaces the photos I have in my tree on Ancestry.com.

This also worked when I edited a different photo and saved it with the same name of a previous photo, essentially replacing the original.

This is one case where the sync really works well.
