If the new merge interface has you spinning, imagine what we "newbies" thought of the new merge wizard. After downloading FTM 2012, I imported a tree from ancestry, did not understand the new microscopic merge "surprise!!" -a big ha ha from the programmers I fear, and accepted "all import" without doing any of the typical analyses. Bit nasty when you have 5,000 people on your tree. I have no idea what I wiped out.
