Just upgraded to 2012 from 2011 FTM for the main purpose of not having to do my work twice, but it has this note: You cannot link two existing trees.
Is there a way around this without having to either upload a new tree from FTM to AMT or the other way around? My problem is that I have not always been good in updating both of them, so have 19,829 individuals in FTM & 19,366 in AMT a difference of about 563 people. I was hoping with the sync feature, it might help me identify the missing. Either way I loose, if I chose to upload a new tree from FTM I will loose many of the record's I've linked in my AMT. If I do it the other way around and download my AMT to FTM, I loose the 563 people. Any advice appreciated on how to proceed. Thanks, Cindy
