I have been using FTM 2011 as a research tool and a collection utility. For this, it is superior to RootsMagic
The slow execution speeds appear to be due to size of file and type of execution. The latter I address by getting out and back into FTM 2011 periodically. It seems to clear out something.
Today, I had to print out a descendant report for a cousin to use. I was appalled when I compared RootsMagic to FTM 2011. FTM reports seem to be out of 1990s. RootsMagic leaves FTM in the dust! I have to say I was surprised.
Thank goodness for GEDCOM.
