FTM 2010 (and 2009, maybe earlier versions, as well) embeds the name of genealogy reports and lines at the top of every page (and lines at the bottom) which make it impossible to add images or substantially change text once the report is exported: when you add or change the report, you run into the embedded stuff, which causes page breaks in improper places; if you try to delete the embedded stuff, it messes up the formatting. I want a genealogy report with nothing at the top or bottom of the page except what I add for headers/footers and pagination, i.e., a report that has clean pages. How can I do this? Ancestry.com's online help tells me to create a book and I can take the embedded stuff out from the book and then export, but I cannot get it out of the book, either (I have turned off the headed/footer items in "Book Item Properties"). If there is a way to work within a book or report, adding images and changing the text before you export the final product, that is fine, too, but I do not see a way to do that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
