Does the part of the screen what has the "Closed Drawer" ICON, have at least a persons Name?

I'm beginning to understand that you do not realize that the "More Info" Icon is displayed in 2 ways. See attachment - that highlights the 2 different ways the icon is displayed.

Your description of "Closed Drawer" is not appropriate.
Both ways have an Icon with a "File Box"
One is an "Empty" File Box
The other has paper in the File Box.

Is that CLEAR?

The attached example of the a file without a problem to show that the "More Info" Icon may be displayed in 2 ways.

The "More Info" Icon for the Husband has a file box with paper in it.

The "More Info for the Wife has a file box that is empty.

(Initally when entering a new Family Member Name, the "More Info Icon would display an "empty" file box.)

FTM determines which display of Icons to use depending on what additional information is available. Since the Family Page displays Name, DOB, DOD, Burial,those items do not prompt a change from an empty file box to a file box that has paper in it.

So if your were to add more info you would go to the "More Info" Icon and click it to bring up the "FACTS" dialog, with additional boxes on the right side, one of which would be "NOTES".

Is that CLEAR?

FTM changes the "More Info" Icon from "Empty" file box to an Icon of a file box with paper if information is in addition to what was on the Family Page, (The Family Page is limited to Name, DOB, DOD, Burial.)

There a lot of folks that do not understand there is a difference of the "More Info" Icon display.

Hopefully you are clear now how it works.

The problem appeared yesterday, not that it may have happened a few days earlier and went undetected.

The problem is that for every family member in the file, the "More Info" is displayed as a file box with paper, indicating the is more information than Name, DOB, DOD, Burial when in many cases there is no additional information.

It seems that the file is corrupted - but is there a way to fix?
