FTM 2009 Place Authority Missing Lots of Valid Places

Although I'm not adopting FTM 2009 as my primary software, I thought I'd use the "Place" functionality to verify and update place names. I am finding quite a few valid cities that are not recognized by the FTM Place Authority. When one doesn't match, I go into the government GNIS system to verify and use the "Ignore" within FTM. I even found at least one that was mispelled in the place authority. Hopefully Ancestry will figure out one of these days that quality is important to some of us to retain/get us back as customer. They still haven't fixed the WWII Enlistment download which they admit was not done properly resulting in an error in one field that many of the soldiers have including my dad. They apparently used a wrong reference table or something. The National Archives has the correct data online.
