After watching a podcast that says to clean up your database, I decided to resolve a lot of the place names so they correctly show on the map. Big mistake! Now my program is running slower and slower. I type in 4 letters, and the program stops responding for a minute. This does this no matter what field I am entering. I have compacted, turned off things, read all of the help, etc. I finally opened an old tree that had not been resolved, and it works fine. I have to agree with the people that it seems that every time I try to do something, it seems to be processing my entire database, I have 6000 individuals and 1919 places. Any other thoughts before I start undoing my resolution of places?
