Remove invalid families from FTM 2014 database

Classification: Query
When I export my current FTM 2014 database as a GEDCOM, I have 4 invalid families. By this I mean, a FAM with no husband, no wife and no children - only an event. Examples below. Please note that I have added indentation to make it easier to read.

0 @F125@ FAM
1 MARR

0 @F192@ FAM
1 MARR
2 DATE OCT 1857
2 PLAC St Martin in the Fields, London
2 SOUR @S12@
3 OBJE @M58@

0 @F197@ FAM
1 MARR
2 DATE SEP 1922
2 PLAC Marylebone, Middlesex
2 SOUR @S19@
3 OBJE @M82@

0 @F200@ FAM
1 MARR
2 DATE SEP 1922
2 PLAC Marylebone, Middlesex
2 SOUR @S19@
3 OBJE @M91@

I know how these got generated. Somehow, as part of merging individuals, various fact were associated with "Unknown Person" - as opposed to the correct Husband or Wife. When the facts got moved to the correct husband/wife, and the "Unknown Person" was deleted, these invalid FAM structures remain. It appears to me that FTM 2014 should have deleted the FAM when all individuals were removed from it. There is no way to see that these FAM exist inside FTM 2014 - as there are no individuals within them.

So, the question is - how to remove rubbish from the database? The answer is NOT export GEDCOM and import GEDCOM. This does remove the invalid families when the GEDCOM is imported - however - due to GEDCOM bugs - see my previous post - you won't get back the same data. Also, the primary tree is synced to Ancestry UK - and I do not want to resync the whole thing again and reinvite everyone etc etc.

Is there any form of consistency checker for the FTM database? Or any method of fixing a DB? Or I am stuck with junk in this database?
