Does anyone have any information or have any relatives that were lost with this ship. It was on or about the 10th of october 1941 off the coast of Metaghan Nova Scotia. Master on board was my grandfather James Mann. Ship was S.S Brant O.N 116875.

Any info would help. Seems like this ship never exsisted. i can't find it on any Data bases.

Thanks

Halifax Herald, Oct 29, 1941.
The tugboat Brant, two weeks overdue from a trip from Mulgrave to Halifax, presumably now lying on the ocean bottom with her six man crew (all of Quebec).
The 60-foot vessel, just rebuilt at Orleans, Quebec, left Mulgrave Oct 10th. It was owned by J.P Porter & Sons Ltd.
