Do anyone know if any of the Martin descendants settled in the Fonda (Caughnawaga), Montgomery county, NY, area? I am distantly descended from Gertrude Martin who married John Penner there ~ 1810. They settled in Oneida county, NY. I enjoyed reading all these posts. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

George Martin and Susannah "Goody" North Martin are my 11th. G. Grandparents. George Martin has NO connection to any Mayflower passengers.

Howdy Cousin! I just found out this week I am related to John Martin, his son Christopher died on the Mayflower from what I understand. I am also related to the Worthen family, and on down the line to a Lt. Joseph Smith who fought in the American Revolution. :) coverlady@aol.com
email me: I am not a geneologist but, I decided to join the DAR recently because I found a will online from the 1800's RE: Joseph Smith in the American Revolution. I just realized, I could join the Mayflower Society too. WOW!
