I'm trying to find out about my ancestors and all I know is that Mary Diar,of Salem, was burned at the stake in The Salem Witch Trials. My grandmother had her original diaries and love letters, that were supposed to be given to my father(Robert Whiting) when she passed away. However, when she did pass, the diaries and letters disappeared ( relatives with sticky fingers perhaps?). I need to find out my link to Mary Diar as it has been driving me crazy for 20 years! Can someone help? Ant info? Also, John Brown (the first governor of Rhode Island) is also an ancestor...any info on him? Thanks!
