Do you have any idea of what Lydia's maiden name might have been? Lois Gates Gilbert married my x 3 Great Grandfather, Joseph Emmons, on 6 Jan 1763 and she is a direct descendant of Thomas Gilbert, Sr.. I have seen at least two different maiden names for Lydia and neither of them is accurate. I would dearly love to find her maiden name to fill out my tree correctly.
