After reading thru the "read me" file for the Tree Maker 7, I spent about 6 to 8 hours putting three of my families in the program. I didnt know that I had to go to "File" and save this information in my "documents." Not knowing this, I signed off. When I returned to post more information, all my information was gone. Wish this had been in the "read me" file instead of constantly referring me back to Family Tree Maker 5-that I dont have and not a single reference to the fact that I had to save this information. I assumed since I had downloaded the program, that all my information would stay in that program. Apparently not.
