I've noticed the children in the families I've researched since installing the 2017 FTM are not displayed in birth order in WorldConnect . They are displayed in the order in which they are entered into the FTM. The children are displayed in birth order in the 2017 FTM after using the SORT option in TOOLs. In a test family I created, the information in the GEDCOMs of both the 2012 and 2017 as far as Individual's ID/reference #s is the same. The only difference in the GEDs is the version and encoding. The 2012 uses GED version 5.5 and the 2017, 5.5.1. This has been brought to the attention of MacKiev and WorldConnect. Neither can explain how/why this happens but MacKiev says they will have engineers take a look at it.
The only way to have the children in birth order in WC is to enter them into the 2017 FTM in order of birth. Most researchers post the children as they find them, then put them in birth order.
