Often when I see a leaf connected to one of my ancestors in the family tree, I naturally go there to check it out. Now I don't have a steel trap memory, so when it suggests my adding a presumably new source of information, such as a federal census record, to the several people listed in the principal person's family, I generally do it only to find out later that it added some information already attached to that person! Then I have to go back to all those peoples' profiles and most likely have to delete the recently attached record. I really wish that Ancestry could modify their software, so at least it warns me that I have already attached the record before and let me make the decision to attach it or not! Thank you,
Bruce
