There may have been a way at one time--I'm not sure, but probably the easiest way to do this today would be to go to your admin page and check off all the messages and click on print messages. This give you printer friendly messages. Then instead of printing them out save the messages by printing them to a file on your computer.

I don't think you need to worry though as the old data is still going to be there if needed. We have backups.
