I don't know if this helps but growing up in Washington, D.C. one of my best friends who lived in my neighborhood was Sergei Olive and his father - still living at the time - was Vladimir Sergei Olive. He was the youngest Colonel at the end of WWI in the White Russian army and decorated. After the war, he said that he attempted to assassinate Lennin and fled the country when they came for him. On the ship to America he met the woman who was the mother of my friend. She fled from the Ukraine. V. S. Olive was made an honorary member of the OSS (predecessor of the CIA). His exploits were documented in the Washington newspapers. He did work for the Czar and entertained us kids with wonderful tales from that era. He and his wife (that I knew) had three children: Elena, Carol, and Sergei (my friend). If I can help further, feel free to contact me through my email:
