I'm apart of the Himpfen family, the canadian side. There isn't "much" known about our family, mostly theories based on information we have recieved. You can email me for information if you so wish.

My maiden name was Himpfen and I know that my Great Grandparents were German but not where they came from. The family settled in Walthamstow, London and had a large family.my Grandfather was Frederick Himpfen who married a lady with the surname of Pritchard and they had 13 children although only 7 got to adulthood. My Father was Alfred born in 1914 and he married Catherine Taylor in 1940 and I was born in 1946. I have always wanted to know where my roots are. Can you help?

My great grandfather was Peter Himpfen he was one of two brothers that came to England in the 1870's they were bakers. The other brother was Joseph. All the Himpfen's in England descend from these two brothers. I have seen records which say they were born in Coblenz Germany.
Look forward to hearing from you
Sandra
