Hi,

My Great Grandmother, Ada Jane Bailey, and GGFather, Richard Hayward, were both employed in the Royal Household at Bagshot Park around the end of 19th Century beginning 20th Century. I am fairly sure they married in 1898 and know that Richard travelled to Kenya with Prince Arthur, possibly as his Equerry in 1910. My Grandfather (Richard Ashley) was born in 1906. My GGFather died soon after returning from Kenya either in or after being discharged form the Royal Brompton Convalescent Home.

However, I can find no actual trace of him - all this is based on family word of mouth and things that have been passed down with inscriptions on them.

Could anyone please point me in the direction of perhaps a census which lists people in Bagshot Park in 1901? Or maybe where I can find a list of the Royal Household at that time? I would be really grateful.
