I need help trying to find out if my family could be decendents of German nobility I know there is a town called Mahlow in Germany its just south of berlin and I know my great grandfather was born in potsdamn Germany I was also told my last name was Von Mahlow but the Von was dropped by my great grand father during WWI due to the treatment of Germans by Americans during the war ..... IF anyone could help that would be great
