I am trying to locate information on my ancestor,
Jean DeParmelin, who was a
Huguenot, and fled france/belgium to holland and then emigrated to
Connecticut in
America, and his name was changed
to John Parmelin (parmelee, parmly,parmley). He fled
France under persecution of the
Duke Of
Alva (1500-1582).
Any assistance or information would be appreciated.
