At last some information. I have got some information of my line tying into the Fincham clan and can forward it to you from a lady who also did some research. It was an error as I did not know how many greats was involved. My dad who is Thornton Jeffrey, Jeffrey from the Fincham side says it is 5 times great grandmother. I have been trying to establish if she was a Lady in Waiting, or was there other Royal connection, as I was told she was too young at the time. I had her down as Lady temperance Binding. However, a collegue told me who is a historian that often they went under a different name which could have been Fincham. The 1st cousin that you could be referring too would be my grandfather Henry Thornton Joubert who died in the 1980s.
