I know this is a long shot since this was posted 6 years ago. I am interested in the crest. If it is still available please reply. If it is not for sale, I would like to see a picture.

Thanks,
Tim Ciraky
(The spelling has been American-ized by my grandfather.)

Dear All,

I have red threads an adds to this Family site and now I found at least somebody who knows about the Denesfai Cziraky family. I our family it was part of the family history that the grand-grand father comes from Denesfai Cziraky family as the child of the count and some other noble, explicitly mentioned many times the Andrassy family and some "Katinka" countess. In the family the male names were from that time on Jozef, Gabor, Bela, Gabor, Laszlo, Gergo. The family lived and partly live in county Zala.
My grandfather - Gabor - had quick career in the Hungarian army, starting as companion of the general staff in the early 30th.

If you have any connection or information to my family please, do not hesitate to contact me on gergo.cziraky@gmail.com directly. It is welcome.

Best regards
Gergo

I know this sounds crazy, but last year I met my uncle, 89 years old, who now lives in London. He told me that my grandmother, his mom, was Cziraky-Kis Ilona, and that we were related to the count from this area.

If the person that posted the genealogy could show me where I would love to investigate it on my own. I am taking Hungarian lessons and speak conversationally. I also go to Hungary every other year, and am looking forward to seeing the castle and area for myself.

My email is sjurcsek@yahoo.com, and I welcome any information people might have.

Thanks!
