I have been doing intensive research into the Stewart and associated families of Portersville and Butler County, PA for several years now and have met many wonderful people along the path. This is a query of interest as to whether there are fellow researchers or kinfolk who would be interested in attending a Reunion of these families sometime within the next 60-90 days somewhere in the area of Portersville and Butler, PA. My initial thoughts are that it would be an opportunity to, among other things:

* Meet and share research with interested fellow researchers;
* Share sources and family memorabilia and stories;
* Break bread together ;-)
* Rekindle or initiate relationships among our kinfolk and fellow interested researchers; and,
* Other ideas from among fellow interested participants.

Our family is actually related to several Stewart lines in the area; but most directly are descended from the Robert Stewart families who initially settled and founded Portersville, and had branches throughout Butler County and elsewhere.

Off the top of the pointed head of one researcher, I suspect that interested associated families would include those of the following:

Stewart, English, Christie, Gourley, Campbell, Scott, Levis, Rice, Fithian, Kennedy, McGeary, Lusk, Adams, Seigfreid, Truby, Brandon, and many, many others.

I would appreciate any responses indicating interest, with no specific commitments aside from an interest in attending and participating, at this point, so that I can gauge whether this is a worthy endeavor or not.
