Greer / Rice Family Reunion

At Albright’s Mill County Park, Howard Lake, Minnesota

This park is part of Elijah Rice’s (Pappy Rice) homestead, he was the of keeper for the mill, creamery, store, garage, and blacksmith shop. The main family cemetery is nearby.

Elijah Rice and Phoebe Pine had nine children. Elijah Rice’s daughter, Elizabeth Rice married Samuel Greer, they had seven children. We are hoping that other descendants of Elijah and Phoebe Rice, and descendants of William and Elizabeth Greer will attend our family reunion.

Bring your own food, beverages, coolers, and plan on potluck with whatever you bring. If you have portable table and chairs will they come in handy as there are only two picnic tables at this historic park. There is a hand pump and out house. There will be a couple tents for some shade and shelter. If the weather is tornadic, it will be cancelled without notice.
