This one will be held in October on Saturday for many reasons. We are hoping that maybe on Saturday the
activities could last a little longer than last year allowing everyone to mingle and meet those they have
never met. Hopefully the weather will be cooler for outdoor activities. For those of you who live out-of-town, or
out-of-state, there is a possibility that the City of Rayne may allow the use of campersites on this weekend.
They are located on the same grounds as the Civic Center. Those of you with camper trailers can hook up. Please contact us if you are interested. There are two new motels in Rayne located nearby for those who need a place to stay. If you are musically inclined, contact us. It would be nice to have our talented family musicians entertain in the late afternoon.

V O L U N T E E R S ”YOU”ARE NEEDED FOR THIS YEARS REUNION!

We are asking for someone, or several of you, from each family group to volunteer in assisting and in communicating with their family members as an aid to keeping us and others informed. We have no way of contacting anyone except for those who signed in at the last reunion. You are desperately needed !!! Please contact us, we need your help. The more the merrier.

Last year no request was made for anything regarding genealogy of your ancestors and descendants. For 2001 we are hoping to be better prepared in gaining this information. Not only are we interested in our ancestors and descendants, we’re sure you are too. We are not sure how to handle this but plans are in the works. Any ideas? We’d love to hear them.

Food was not a problem for the last reunion. It was wonderful of every one to have provided. It was
very plentiful! We are interested in ideas of food preparation for the 2001 reunion. Do you have better suggestions? Suggestions or ideas you may have in making this an easier and more pleasant reunion for everyone are definitely accepted. Let us know, we would love to hear from you. Otherwise, the plan is for you to bring a covered dishes again and your drinks.
