Storys / Storeys from Canada, America, Ireland, England & Scotland are meeting at Catlowdy, Cumbria for their third World Conference of Family History. Largely as a result of previous Reunions in Ireland and Indiana, the Storys / Storeys are returning to the origins of their Family name - Cumbria & Northumberland. An extensive Itinerary has been organised with planned visits to Justice Town (birthplace of Dean George - King William's Army Chaplain, & Thomas "Quaker" Story of Pennsylvania)
Arthuret Church, Carlisle Castle Public Records Office, Bewcastle and to Bingfield near Hexham, Northumberland, where the powerful Storys of Corick, Co. Tyrone and of Bingfield, Co. Cavan originated in the late 1600s.
This is a must for any Storys / Storeys interested in their Family History and the first time that such a Reunion has been organised with Family Hikstory in mind.
