I am researching the pioneer families of Carleton County, Ontario, Canada; Fitzroy Twp. in particular. I am working on my husband's family & these names include Harris, Carr, Pierce, Cuthbertson, Black, Larrett & Styles. We & our 5 children are planning a camping trip up to Fitzroy Provincial Park in late August (date pending) & are planning a pot luck picnic one weekend. So far, we have several interested roots seekers/descendants planning to come. It will be smallish. Maybe bigger next year???
