My husbands grandfather passed away a few months ago and he has never met anyone on his mothers side of the family. So I ordered his grandfathers death certificate to start piecing together his family tree and I learned a lot of information about his grandfather. Unfortunately, I've hit a road block and cannot find any information about my husbands great grandparents besides their names. His grandfather was born in 1945 in Tennessee. I know I wouldn't be able to order his birth certificate but is it possible to get it verified, and hopefully get more information about his parents (birth dates, state of birth, etc)? How do I do this, if possible?
