Translation Problem: Please Help 1884 + 1892 Bieżuń Poland Records
This is a real challenge for me, though hopefully not for someone here!
I have two records: a 1884 Marriage Record from Bieżuń, Poland (in Russian) for my 4x great grandfather, Franciszek Kosin. This is his second marriage; he is marrying Anna Kuczborska, also her second marriage. This record says his parents are Piotr and Maryanna (Przybułka). I do not know all the other details , but that is what I can generally see.
The second record: a 1892 Death Record for this same man, Franciszek Kosin. His son (my 3x great grandfather) Teodor Kosin is an informant, as is a relative of Anna Kuczborska. Now, this document says his parents are Piotr and Agnieska (no maiden name). And he is about 80 years old at time of death. Again, I cannot read all the details.
How can this be? It is clearly the same man: same place, same second wife (Anna Kuczborska), same father name, Piotr, but his mother changes from Maryanna to Agnieska. We don't have Agnieska's maiden name, to see whether it is Przybułka.
Two records is a lot of work. If anyone has the time and interest, I would be most grateful. Even if someone has an idea why the mother's name is different (mistake?). I do not have access to Franciszek's first marriage document, as it is in the gap years between 1825 and 1856, where I do not have access.
Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Translation Problem: Please Help 1884 + 1892 Bieżuń Poland Records
Hi Stanislaw!
Thank you for responding!
Yes: in marriage record he is roughly 65; in death record he is roughly 80, so those are the years I searched. Actually, I searched what was available: 1808 -- 1824. Three times.
NO Kosins! In fact, there was only one or two Kosins -- at all -- born in that 16 year time span. That is partly why I am trying to find more details: was he born in Bieżuń? Clearly, he was not.
I have checked through those records several times now....I do not know where else he could be born.
Again, thanks for responding, Meredith

But why would both the Marriage and Death Record say his (Franciszek) father's name was Piotr (not Franciszek, as in the 1819 Lutocin record you shared)? I see the mother's name is Agnieszka,
I'm not sure that Franciszek and Agnieszka are Franciszek Kosin's parents...It would seem more certain that his father's name is Piotr, as we see two records with that name on it.
Do either the Death or Marriage record say for certain that he was born in Bieżuń?
As always, thank you for taking the time for search around and help me,
Meredith

The death record says "место рожденiя неизвестно" birth place unknown. His marriage record says "родившимся въ Бежуне" born in Bieżuń.

Re: Translation Problem: Please Help 1884 + 1892 Bieżuń Poland Records
I wonder which would be more reliable? Probably marriage record, as he himself was (supposedly) giving the information. For his death record, I would guess his son, Teodor, or his widow, Anna Kuczborska, was the one giving the information.
And yet, I cannot find him in the Bieżuń birth records. How could I have missed it?
Hmmmm. There are (currently, as of this year) Kosins in Poniatowo (which was part of Chamsk parish) and in Zuromin and in Toruń.
When my great-great grandfather immigrated to the US, he stated he was from Toruń -- though he was not, really; he was born in Bieżuń.
For many of my relatives -- like those in Pręgowo Dolne, Poland or Černá za Bory, Pardubice, Czechoslovakia -- I do not have any access to digitized records, so I am excited to have these for Bieżuń. I just wish I could find this birth record!
Thank you so kindly for your continued help -- I appreciate it!
