Let me begin by saying--I know virtually nothing about my family.

My grandparents were both adopted. No one knows any information about my grandmother's birthparents--my grandfather's birth-mom had the last name McQuigg, was very, very wealthy and had him at 16 in a salvation army. Her father made her give up my grandfather as soon as she had him.

My grandfather was then adopted by a couple, Opal and Ernie Kelley who owned a farm in Pilot Mound, Iowa. My grandfather was also in the Navy US-Yorktown CVS-10. He and my Grandma then lived in California for quite some time, and then settled in New Hampshire. I've attached photos of both my grandparents.

No almost nothing about my grandmother.

And that's where the knowledge ends. I don't have any information on my own biological father--so it's like...I don't know my roots. And it's frustrating.
