Pierce's Estate
Valued At $18,028

at $20,367.89 gross and $18,028.82 net
was left by George L. Pierce of Yonkers,
who died April 24. 1938. according
to the report filed of James
J. Fleming, Westchester Estate Tax
Appraiser.
The decedent owned Bronx real
estate appraised at $10,800, had
other realty at Franklln. N. Y.,
valued at $2,060, and also had $2,-
271.15 in stocks and bonds, joint
accounts of $5,101.74. and personal
property valued at $135. He also
owned real estate at West Roxbury.
Mass.. which is not included in the
appraisal as It Is not taxable in this
State.
A brother. Frank T. Pierce of
West Roxbury, receives the real
estate there. Two sons, Frank
Pierce and Donald Pierce, both of
39 Landscape Avenue, each receive
a watch and chain. The remainder
of the estate is bequeathed to his
wife, Mrs. Lillian M. Pierce, also of
39 Landscape Avenue, who also receives
$3,900 In nontaxable insurance
