My grandmother, Sadie Hopps (maiden name Sarah Ann Barnes) was manager of this store during this time. I am trying to find a phone directory with the exact address. The store was located almost across from what was then Epiphany Lutheran Church.
My Great-Grandfather George Hopps owned and operated Hopps Hardware further down on 7 Mile, across from Palmer Park, during the 1920's. Any info re this also appreciated.
