I am assisting an elderly family friend to obtain a U.S. passport. She was b. via midwife and has no birth certificate on file. The State Dept has denied her a passport and requires certain documentation to verify her citizenship. Among that which is required is a census record. (I have located the family on the 1930 census. Not I am awaiting a certified copy from the gov't).

Perhaps the lady is a relative of yours and you can assist me (& her) to obtain the necessary documents ( and/or affidavits) to obtain her passport.
