Draftsman Dies at 57
A resident of this area for 21 years, Blair F. Gessling, 57, of Lockport Rd., Town of Wheatfield, died Thursday (March 3, 1960) in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Gessling was a draftsman at the DuPont Co., for 19 and 1/2 years until his illness one year ago. He was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. He was a past master of LaSalle Lodge No. 1049, F&AM, a past grand lecturer of Star of LaSalle No. 785, O.E.S, and a member of the First Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Irene Gessling; one son, Curt Richard Gessling, Syracuse; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Styers, Mt. Vernon; three grandchildren and four nieces. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred W. House, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. LaSalle Lodge No. 1049 will hold services at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
