Ann Holloway/Alloway married George Henfield/Hemfield/Hemfil/similar (their children born in Templemore, Tipperary) - her sister Mary Holloway/Alloway married Bryan (I think) Hannon/Hannan (their children born in Headford, Co. Galway).
Two of Mary's children, Alice and Mary, came to Australia in 1850, then aged 17 and 16. The girls then paid passage for their mother, Mary (father having died 1850-1855) and younger sister, Ann, in 1855.
Mother Mary then started bringing out children of her sister, Ann, in 1857, including John (who married Alice 1858), his sister, Elizabeth Purcell and her husband, Patrick. John's siblings Michael (and wife and children), and Susannah came here in 1858.
Father of Mary and Ann Holloway was William, mother's name unknown. John was born 1826, Alice about 1833 - not sure when the sisters married but guess 1830-1830 or thereabouts?
So, I have the Hannon and the Headford - Is there any connection?
