Hello all,

I'm looking for a Sidney Ford, who should be in the state of New York for the 1860 census. He was born in Michigan and should be about 28 years old in 1860. Living with him then should be his wife Elizabeth age about 28, his son George age about 6, his son Edwin age about 4 and possible his daugher Lavina who was born on April 12, 1860 in New York.

I have searched using Heritage Quest with different spellings for surnames and first names and various other combinations to no avail.

Other relevent information......This family is in Hartford, CT for the 1870 census. I have not been able to locate Sidney Ford in any census records prior to the 1870 census, inlcuding when he was in Michigan. In the 1880 census, his wife Elizabeth is listed as a widow in Hartford, CT.

Any help you could provide in finding this family in the 1860 census would be greatly appreciated.
