I am wondering if any one who has a subscription to the site www.mytrees.com that would be willing to do look-ups for me. I need the information in the databases with the surname Rietdorf. Is anyone willing to help me?

I can try to look something up for you.
Pls send as much info as possible to make sure of the correct match.
(birth date, death date, spouse, parent info, location for any of the above, any children they might have had.)
The more I have the better I can search and be fairly sure of finding the right information for you.

As a note, you can get free hours on this site.
Check out the "transcription project", what you do, is set up an account, and follow the information to do transcriptions for them.
They give you a census image and you transcribe the information on it into a table. It takes about 10 minutes of your time, and they give you 1 free hour to browse, hunt, search, download in thier files.
It is so worth the trade! I have found stuff there, volumes of it.
They also have the 'robot', where once you upload your own tree, ask it to do a smartmatch search of your tree, and the next time you come back (it takes from an hour to a day, depending on how big your file is), they have a list of possible matches. Then you go through them, delete the ones that are not matches, and keep the matches that are good ones. Then you have found data you need without having a ton of random searching!
Its an awesome option for those of us who don't like sending out credit info on the web, or who insist on access for free or trade for free.

It is a user submitted site....you would be better off (by far) with source records.

If you let me know who you are looking for with that surname (there are not many) I can send census images etc.

Remember that much of the info on this site is submitted by its users, and unless it has verifiable sources, should be taken lightly.
Use it to dig further until you can verify the info, basically use it as a pointing tool.
